✍️ Historical notes
They are a typical Sicilian dessert, born in the kitchens of ancient convents, and today present in the windows of any bar, bakery or pastry shop on the island, but those who know us by now, know that Frank's are different!
Half covered in a delicious dark chocolate glaze, delicate and elegant in their presentation, they are excellent to accompany a tea or a coffee.

😋 Frank's Cookies
Frank prepares the fresh butter and whips it together with the sugar, as soon as the mixture is light and frothy he also adds the sifted flour, then he works it until obtaining a smooth and velvety mixture. Next, proceed to put the whipped shortcrust pastry in a piping bag with a star nozzle. On a baking tray Frank has fun creating the shapes of his biscuits then proceeds to bake the biscuits in a hot oven at 180 °C in static mode for about 15 minutes. As soon as they are slightly golden, he takes them out of the oven and lets them cool and then fills and decorates them only as he knows how!
